Climb in!

Gracie loves to climb in anything. Here are a couple funny places I have found her lately!

I really thought about putting the pan on the stove just for a picture, but decided it might look too scary to some!!

"I need a haircut"

The first words out of Benjamin's mouth one morning were, "I need a haircut". I said ok, but figured he would forget pretty quick. Well, I was wrong! He did not forget, so I took the clippers to his head!

Such nice long shaggy hair...I wish my hair were that color!!
Look at that long piece of hair! I was pretty happy with the outcome!

Rice

You can read all over the web about sensory play and how wonderful it is for little ones, but you cannot truly understand it until you see them doing it. Rice play is one of the easiest sensory play bins to create. Just rice and measuring spoons and cups. Grace was no exception, she loved it!

Sensory play can be messy, but the rice cleans up super easy!!

Photography

Taking pictures has always been my passion...last year, however, it all clicked(no pun intended). With the purchase of a very easy to use editing software program, I saw my images taking shape in a way that I loved! I really doubted my ability to ever be a photographer, but through much prayer, I saw God lead me down this road and it has been incredible! I have met some wonderful people through this experience and I see it as an avenue to give God glory. I can't think any other reason it all clicked than just God's timing! So without further ado...the BLOG! I finally found a blog template, accepted that while the taking and editing of pictures is apparently a God given talent, computer graphics is NOT, so I handed over the 20 bucks and bought a watermark!! What do you think?

best of 2011--SEPTEMBER vol one

This was a fun day swimming at Joshua's! And yep, it was really September!

Grace loved sliding in and climbing out!

You have to click and enlarge to see Grace's hilarious face!

Sliding in on the raft!

She was blowing bubbles...it was soooo cute!
She thought it was hilarious!

Megan loved jumping in!
LOL!
One of the many ways they "fell" into the pool!
Sometimes you just catch the perfect funny shot!

Last of Gatlinburg

After the aquarium, it was so beautiful out that we walked around Gatlinburg some more. It was the perfect temperature and totally not crowded! So nice!

 Boys with their coffee...
Isn't he sweet!
Getting so big!
She was hamming it up!
Dancing and twirling...
Posing...

Ninja on the left, Mime on the right :-)
Doing their thing...twirling(girly), ninja-ing(physical), miming(center of attention)

Watching the taffy being pulled
Our 3 little sweet♥s

Ripley's Aquarium

Gracie and Daddy at a touch pool...funny that Grace was willing to touch anything, but the boys weren't!
Love this of my oldest and youngest!

I love to touch the sting rays...Joel and I went here for our honeymoon and first anniversary and he had to pull me away from the sting rays every time!
This machine had a ball that you roll and the pictures flash super fast. I managed to catch it just right and I love that Noah's hand even looks a little shocked!

 Oh dear!
It's dark, but the diver was in the tank. We were able to watch several feedings at different tanks.
 More sting rays!
 Love this picture!!
Sometimes Noah talks about being a marine biologist...maybe!
Joel hates jellyfish, but they are sooo interesting!
 Interesting fish
 more jellyfish...so amazing
The penguin area had a crawl through tunnel...the kids loved it!
 David :)

Upon arrival...they loved the big tank of fish...Grace pointed and laughed!
Squeaky shoes...greatest invention for busy toddlers(especially 3rd child)!
gotta love the colorful poison frogs(they are like sin)

 Love how this turned out!

Don't worry, she wasn't falling in! But she wasn't happy with me for putting her there!

Love the contrast of little Gracie to the BIG fish tank!

We loved the aquarium! If you ever have a chance to go, you will enjoy it! Worth the money!
